Anhumas AbyssAnhumas Abyss is a cave 23km from the city of Bonito Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Access is by a gap that exists in the Rock through vertical Rappelling techniques.To the base of the cave is 72 meters of vertical drop, until the deck on the lake of clear water. That can reach 80m. depth. The fall offers a unique overview of the cave and having the sensation of being inside the Earth.About us:The Abyss has been fully opened to visitors in 1999 with the beginning of research, development and training of staff, providing all necessary security by adopting an environmental policy. The tourism operation is monitored, ensuring sustainability at the farm and visit the cave causing the least possible impact. This policy recommends that only 18 people attend a day of adventure. Pre Requirements and Training RAPEL: PRE REQUIREMENTS AND TRAINING: Visiting the Abyss Anhumas comprises a sequence of key steps for you to do the ride in total safety. The day before the visit is conducted specific training for staff of the Abyss Anhumas in our Training Center in downtown. So everyone can know the techniques of descent and ascent and safety procedures involved in this adventure.The tour requires small groups, with departure times determined. This provides greater comfort and safety for all. Both groups such as the schedules are decided on the eve of departure, during the training conducted in the central reservation. The limit of visitors per day are 18 people.After the Rappel, we reached a floating deck where our instructors will be waiting for you to give all necessary support. On deck we have a raft Canadian brand that is used to do a walk around the lake, where all information regarding about the cave, limestone formations, and water are passed through the monitor driving the boat. The fluctuation with mask and snorkel is guided by another monitor, we pass all the information about the cones and lime on aquatic life in the Deep Lake Anhumas offering a unique experience to see the cave from the inside of the water. Must-see!DIVING IN THE ABYSS:The scuba dive is allowed only for certified divers, dive with the Basic course (Open Water), and a maximum of four dives per day. Remember to bring the cards and presents it in training. We rely on our team with divers DIVE MASTER, certified guide to conduct underwater support for visitation. The dive must be scheduled apart from abseiling. Tip: You can be vague for the rappel with the buoyancy and no more vacancy for scuba diving. So it's worth booking in advance.The equipment for scuba or fluctuation can be rented at dive operators in town.The tour does not provide transportation and food.Recommendations:The Rappel the Abyss Anhumas, suggests that you keep yourself hydrated and fed.
